My beautiful community- Ho Chi Minh City (VN)
I lived in Ho Chi Minh city, for me it the most beautiful city in Vietnam. Hanoi is the capital and it also a great city, but I would recommend you to visit Ho Chi Minh city when you travel to Vietnam. Most of the Vietnamese history is mostly locate in Hanoi, buts Ho Chi Minh city is the city that will entertain you most. The best part about HCMC is Ben Thanh Market, Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace, Municipal Theater,…ect. These are the place that I would definitely suggest you to go too. All these buildings have been lasted since the French invasion. I will start with Ben Thanh market, it a market where they sell everything not just food, and this is a place where lots of foreigner would visit. There even sell lots of Vietnamese traditional stuff, like clothing, jewelries, dining stuff, and lots more. Central Post Office it a post office that been build since the French Invasion. The architect of the building is very beautiful, inside you would see lots of vintage stuff that had been use from years ago. I think you would definitely like it, you could also buy some sou verniers for friends and family too. Notre Dame Cathedral, you would think that why is it in Vietnam, it suppose to be at France. But Vietnam also have one too, it had been also build by the French. Even if you are not Christian you should also come to visit it, it is very beautiful. These are the places that I would suggest you to go when you travel to Ho Chi Minh city. The below are some of the picture of the places above.
